Imola in Musica is not just a festival: it is a shared cultural project that grows thanks to the energy of those who choose to be part of it. Each edition transforms the historic center into a large widespread stage, where music, art, and community meet and collaborate.
Participating means actively contributing to one of the city's most representative events, also recognized at a European level, and becoming part of a network that values creativity, territory, and innovation. Artists, cultural organizations, associations, partners, sponsors, volunteers, and citizens: everyone can bring skills, ideas, and vision.
Imola in Musica is a space open to collaboration, experimentation, and mutual growth. An opportunity to create authentic connections, give visibility to one's projects, and together build a cultural experience capable of leaving its mark.
As always, local associations, organizations, and schools can propose musical events to be included in the Imola in Musica program. Proposals can be submitted by June 15th and must be expressly approved by the festival organization.
Commercial exercises
Imola traders can submit musical events to be included in the festival program. For proposals to be included on the official communication channels of the event, submissions from traders must also arrive by June 15th through the completion of the appropriate form and must be expressly approved by the organization.
Street Musicians
Groups or individual musicians interested in performing as street musicians / buskers at Imola in musica must complete the online form by June 15th. Among the proposals received, the organization will select those deemed most interesting, original, and suitable for the context of the event. Artists will be assigned a pitch in the historic center to occupy until the end of the evening. No fees will be paid, but concessions are provided, such as authorization to perform "a cappello" (for tips) and to distribute their own promotional material, in addition to the artist/group being included in the event program.
Volunteers
The Theatres, Musical Activities and Youth Policies Service of the Municipality of Imola invites students and young people, aged 18 to 30, to gain concrete experience within the complex organizational machine of a cultural event. Volunteers will collaborate during the festival days in activities supporting the organization, setting up venues, welcoming and managing information points, photo and video documentation, and much more. A certificate will be issued to those who wish, which can be included in their curriculum, and everyone will be covered by insurance. Join us: fill out the form below and send it to us by August 17th!
